On Jan. 9th many super stars
gathered in “SUMMIT 632” of Shanghai Tower. They witnessed a special
conference. “Shanghai Eye” is the protagonist of the event.
“Shanghai Eye” is the culmination work of the
famous artist Mi Qiu. It took him six years to complete the whole work. His original
idea was from “Shan Hai Jing”. Mi Qiu said, “I hope the piece of work can
convey the future possibility in a perspective of the unity of nature and man
and make more people understand the concept of a vertical city.” As a landmark
of Shanghai, it shows the nature of the city.
