Full Dimension team interviewed Des O’Neill, 3D sound mix engineer of Once upon a Time and one of Full Dimension international team members. He shared his inspiration and feelings. His job was to set up models in the studio and do pre-mixing according to theatre surrounding. There were more than 70 pieces of 3D sound music and sound effect totally. Once upon a Time was a magic 3D sound feast so that the audience experienced an incredible journey of time. 3D sound technology promoted the plot, so that the audience was totally immersed in the stage play. The stage area and auditorium were no longer two isolated space, so that the audience seemed to be immersive, as if they went into the story. It enhanced the audience’s experience.
